The first Kate Jacobs book I read was Comfort Food and I really liked it; I gave it four stars.
This one, not so much. It was extremely meh. Plus I just really did not like Dakota. Which greatly contributed to my dislike of the novel as she is at the centre of it. I tried to empathise with her, and remember myself at 20, but still nah.
