My rating: 2 of 5 stars
I really thought this would be at least a 4 star book. The blurb from J.K. Rowling on the cover coupled with the fact that the narrator had me laughing from page one could not be more promising. I was enjoying myself for a good part of the book till the narrator fell in love with someone she wasn’t supposed to fall in love with. And then the book became so hard to read. Cassandra started crying ALL THE TIME! Like, she would actually schedule crying time in her day. So fucking irritating! Plus she became a bit of a bitch which just had me wanting to smack her.
Ugh! I really hate it when books that start off with promise end up going downhill real quick.
