I was not too sure about Ready Player One, but it has a Goodreads rating of 4.23 from ~1.3m reviewers, so I went into it with fingers crossed that I would enjoy it. But it ended up being a 2-star read, because while the story was relatively interesting, the writing was godawful 😮💨
