I was initially going to give this two stars. Like the other three Sparks books I have read, the movie is much better. I can count on both hands the number of times I have read a book which has the movie as the better version of the two. It is such a rare occurrence yet Sparks’ books always make the list.
However, the last 25 pages twisted my heart and had me close to tears, making me bump up my rating to three stars.
I cannot help but wonder though, (view spoiler). Coincidence? I think not.
