Wow!! Who knew Amy Poehler is so fucking wise. Lol.
I was expecting this to be funny, and it was. Maybe not laugh out loud funny, but still funny nonetheless. What I was not expecting was for it to be wise AF. If I were the type of person who reads with a highlighter pen it’s safe to say I would have a rather colourful book at the end as there were sooo many sentences I would have highlighted so I can refer to them over and over again. It’s taken me a lot of therapy to develop some of the insights Amy shares, and there were plenty more insights she shared that I know will take even more therapy before they become my way of life.
I do wish Tina Fey‘s chapter was longer though, as it was just one page + one acrostic poem long 😒
