Windmills of the Gods by Sidney Sheldon

Book 21/30.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Original 2015 Review
I hadn’t read a Sidney Sheldon book in well over a decade. So this was nostalgia on 100. I can honestly say I had forgotten just how enjoyable his novels are. The first time I read any of his novels, it was Nothing Lasts Forever and I was 12 years old. I still remember very well how I devoured the pages. He is the master of suspense. This was such a wonderful read that had me gasping in a number of places. The red herring was rather obvious but it didn’t matter at all because there were so many plot twists and reveals to keep me happy. Plus he played it out so well that a few times I wasn’t as sure of the red herring. Mr. Sheldon truly is the master of suspense.

2025 Reread Review
Windmills of the Gods was just as enjoyable the second time around as Sheldon truly is the master of suspense 🙇‍♀️
