This was boring AF, 100 or so pages too long, and the protagonist Cannie was unbelievably unlikeable.
I have read 4 books this year, with 3 of the 4 being 1 star reads and I cannot take it anymore. For my next read I will turn to my trusted, favourite Nora Roberts because I simply cannot read one more 1 star book in a 10 week period.
